Find My Vehicle Procedure
Upon receipt of your details and requirements sent to us via the Find My Vehicle Order Form we will contact you to confirm details and run through any questions you may have. We will also take your £15 + Vat fee. After all details have been confirmed we will start searching for you immediately. Once we find these vehicles we will ask the auction house in Japan for mechanical reports for each vehicle, then we will send pictures and reports to you via email (translated into English), and also contact you by telephone to discuss the vehicles we have sourced for you.

Once you have chosen a vehicle Kiki Cars will ask for a deposit of £300 + V.A.T payable by credit or debit card. If your auction bid is unsuccessful we will happily refund your deposit or transfer it to another vehicle of your choice, the option is yours. However, if you win the vehicle at auction but then decide to back out, the deposit will be retained by Kiki Cars to cover the re-auction costs.
With our help the next step is easy. After winning a vehicle at auction, we will email you with the amount to be sent to Japan by Telegraphic Transfer. This will need to be actioned within seven days. (Please note the sooner this is sent the quicker we can arrange shipping for your vehicle).
Our fee for providing the Gold Service is £300 + V.A.T which is covered by the deposit we receive from you when you start bidding on your chosen vehicle. Once you are the winner of an auction for a vehicle, the deposit will be kept as our full payment under our Gold Service or if you take advantage of our Platinum Service it will cover the first payment. (See below for full descriptions of the two service options we offer.)
We will ONLY charge you £15 + VAT to search for your ideal vehicle per month. We would expect to have assisted you in the purchase of this vehicle within the month. If at the end of the month you have not found what you were looking for we will contact you to either search for another month or if you would like to cancel your request.
Gold Service £300 + V.A.T
We will search and advise on all vehicles that fit your criteria then bid on your behalf and supply all information needed to import your vehicle from Japan to your choice of port (Southampton or Liverpool). We will advise you how and when to pay the auction house, shipping and customs & excise. You must collect your vehicle yourself from the docks and arrange for your vehicle to be registered by yourself. (We will still be here to offer advice on the quickest and cheapest way for you to do this).
Platinum Service £1150 + V.A.T
We will search and advise on all vehicles that fit your criteria then bid on your behalf. Once you have won the auction, we will advise you when to make payments to all suppliers involved. After this stage you do nothing, because we will arrange for your vehicle to be collected from Southampton docks, convert the speedo to m.p.h and fit your rear fog light. We then arrange for M.O.T and e/s.v.a tests, valet and finally register your vehicle ready for collection from us in Southampton. Home delivery can be arranged (for an additional fee).

PLEASE NOTE THAT VEHICLES UNDER 10 YEARS OLD REQUIRE E/S.V.A TESTS AT ADDITIONAL COST. WE WILL QUOTE YOU ON THIS BEFORE YOUR BID IS PLACED AS EACH VEHICLE REQUIRES DIFFERENT TESTS.

As soon as your funds have reached our Japanese bank account we will arrange for shipping on the next available vessel (shipping usually takes 4-6 weeks). The auction house in Japan will check over your vehicle one last time whilst in the holding bay awaiting your arranged vessel. At this point they will take high resolution photographs (usually minimum of 6 sometimes as many as 15) which we will send to you by email. We automatically cover your purchase under marine insurance, if you do not require insurance then please advise us before we bid on your vehicle.
After the vessel has been sailing for approximately 3 weeks the shipping company will send their invoice directly to you, please pay this before the expected date of arrival at your chosen port (choice of ports only available under our Gold Service). We will arrange for your import duty and V.A.T bill to be sent to you as soon as it is available, this payment has to be cleared in their account for 24 hours before your vehicle can be released from the docks.
